Mel C completes 'Spice Mums'

Singer Mel C has given birth to a baby girl, her spokeswoman confirmed today.

Scarlet Starr weighed in at 8lb 3oz yesterday.

Both mother and baby “are doing fine”, the spokeswoman added.

The baby’s father is Mel C’s – real name Melanie Chisholm – long-term partner Thomas Starr.

Mel C, who was known as Sporty Spice in the Spice Girls, is the last of the group to become a mother.
