'Little Fockers' set to get go-ahead

Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson and Robert De Niro are set to re-team for a sequel to their smash hit 'Meet the Fockers'.

The trio has reportedly agreed to reprise their roles in upcoming comedy 'Little Fockers', the third film in the popular 'Meet The Parents' franchise, which has garnered takings of more than $800m (€625m) worldwide.

The new movie will centre around the children of Stiller's character and his comedic attempts to appease his disapproving father-in-law, played by De Niro.

Wilson, who had small supporting parts in the first two pictures, is expected to have a greater role in the new film.

John Hamburg, who wrote the first two movies in the series, is penning the script. Filming is scheduled to start later this year.
