UN to probe Clooney security claims

Officials at the United Nations are investigating accusations the organisation withdrew George Clooney's security escort as he travelled to a dangerous area of Africa.

The Hollywood star has been campaigning to highlight the plight of refugees in the Sudan with a series of visits to the country's war torn Darfur region.
