Report: Hathaway to open Oscars with host Jackman

Oscar nominee Anne Hathaway is to open the Academy Awards with a song-and-dance routine, according to reports.

The actress was spotted rehearsing for a variety number at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood on Thursday and insiders claim she'll perform with Oscars host Hugh Jackman to kick off Sunday's show.

The actress will be one of many stars who are set to join Jackman onstage, if reports are to be believed; Beyonce Knowles and 'High School Musical' couple Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens are rumoured to be teaming up with the host for musical numbers.
