No deal for Jackson, says Live Nation

Bosses at concert promotion giants Live Nation have blasted reports they have signed a record deal with Janet Jackson.

The 'Nasty' singer was said to have inked a contract with the company - encompassing her album and concert plans - following her departure from Island Records in September.

However, Live Nation chiefs have now flatly denied the reports.

A spokesman said: "Live Nation has not signed a deal with Janet Jackson, nor are we in discussions with the artist about a deal."
