Heigl and Knight leave Grey's

Grey's Anatomy stars Katherine Heigl and TR Knight are leaving the hit US hospital drama, a fellow cast member has confirmed.

The pair have played doctors Izzie Stevens and George O'Malley on the hospital drama since it first aired in 2005, but according to their co-star, actor, James Pickens Jr, the actors have chosen to end their run.
