'He's Just Not That Into You' tops US box office
New romantic comedy 'He's Just Not That Into You' has soared to the top of the US box office
chart, taking in $27.5m (€21m) in its opening weekend.
A star-studded cast, including actresses Jennifer Aniston, Scarlett Johansson, Jennifer Connelly, Drew Barrymore and Ginnifer Goodwin, take on the roles of misguided women helping each other cope with dating disasters and disinterested men in the movie.
The film knocked Liam Neeson and Maggie Grace's action adventure film 'Taken' to the number two spot, taking in $20.3m (€15.5m) in its second week on the chart.
Teri Hatcher and Dakota Fanning's new stop-animation film 'Coraline' debuted at third, with $16.3m (€12.4m) in earnings; meanwhile, Steve Martin's 'The Pink Panther 2' opened at number four, taking in $12m (€9.1m).
