Paul McCartney reportedly scrapped plans for a 2009 world tour - because he couldn't bear to be parted from his five-year-old daughter Beatrice.

The former Beatle is currently promoting his latest album 'Electric Arguments', which was released under his alter-ego The Fireman, last year.
