Lachey: 'Simpson weight criticism is ridiculous'

Jessica Simpson's ex-husband Nick Lachey has leaped to the defence of the star, calling criticism of her weight "ridiculous".

The singer found herself in the spotlight after she was pictured looking notably curvier on-stage at a concert in Pembroke Pines, Florida last week.
