Cannon to direct Carey's new video

Mariah Carey's husband Nick Cannon has landed a regular music gig - as the superstar's video director.

The singer has roped in her lover to helm the promo for her new single 'My Love', with singer/songwriter The-Dream.

It's the second time Cannon has overseen his wife's video shoot - he was in charge of her last promo for track 'I Stay In Love in October'.

And it seems music videos are a staple of the pair's union - Carey fell for Cannon when he played the love interest in her 'Bye Bye' video early in 2008.

The pair wed in a secret Bahamas ceremony two months later.
