PJ Harvey's Broadway turn

British singer/songwriter PJ Harvey is moving into the theatre world - she has written the music for a new Broadway play.

Harvey's score for a new production of Henrik Ibsen play 'Hedda Gabler' debuts in New York this week.

And the 39-year-old reveals she is fulfilling a longheld ambition.

Harvey tells the New York Daily News: "I've wanted to do theatre or film music since I first began writing music. I've just never been approached before."
