Hobbits to return for prequel?

'Lord of the Rings' star Dominic Monaghan is convinced he will be returning to the magical franchise for upcoming prequel 'The Hobbit' along with co-stars Elijah Wood, Sean Astin and Billy Boyd.

The actors played a band of mythical hobbits in the trilogy but none are featured in JRR Tolkien's prequel novel, which will be adapted for the big screen and directed by Guillermo del Toro.
