Heartache for Cross

The husband of 'Desperate Housewives' star Marcia Cross has been diagnosed with cancer.

Cross and her stockbroker partner Tom Mahoney confirmed the news but refused to disclose any more details about the 50-year-old's condition.

The actress' representative, Heidi Slan, told People.com: "He is currently under treatment and is responding very well."

The couple, who wed in 2006, are parents to 23-month-old twin daughters Eden and Savannah.
