Winehouse close to death twice

Amy Winehouse's father Mitch is delighted his troubled daughter is turning her back on drink and drugs and getting clean in St. Lucia - because she almost died twice last year.

The singer's dad insists she really is serious about cleaning up her act, despite reports to the contrary, and is now revealing just how close the waif-life star came to death at the height of the problems.
