Perry given Rihanna's award by mistake

Katy Perry was left red-faced when a vote-counting error meant she was wrongly announced as the winner of Best International Song award at the NRJ Music Awards, when the award was intended for Rihanna.

The singer went on stage at the event in Cannes, France on Saturday night to collect the prize for her hit 'I Kissed a Girl' from Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger, thanking the audience and telling them it was her first award.
