Clooney to return for 'E.R.' finale?

Bosses of medical drama 'E.R.' have left the door open for George Clooney to make an appearance in the show's final episode.

Clooney starred as Dr. Doug Ross from 1994 to 1999 in the longrunning series but left to pursue his blossoming movie career.
