This convoluted tale of family dysfunction from France with Deneuve leading the cast as a mother suffering from cancer in need of a marrow transplant donor.

Turns out nobody in the family is suitable so as they all gather for a not-very-festive Yuletide we meet the boozers and the nutters in what amounts to a series of ill-spliced, going-nowhere cameos.

Very French, but not very gripping.
