Reeves set for sci-fi role

Keanu Reeves is set to star in a live action version of Japanese anime TV series 'Cowboy Bebop', it has been reported.

It follows the adventures of a group of bounty hunters travelling on their spaceship, the Bebop.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the star will take on the role of Spike Spiegel, an adventurous bounty hunter travelling through space in 2071.

'The Matrix' actor recently played alien Klatuu alongside Jennifer Connolly in 'The Day The Earth Stood Still', which took top spot at the US Box Office.
