Cohen announces first US date in 16 years

Leonard Cohen has announced his first American concert since 1993 after conquering Europe late last year.

The singer's 2008 Canadian and European dates were critically acclaimed and his 'Hallelujah' song, performed by 'X Factor' winner Alexandra Burke and Jeff Buckley, claimed the number one and two spots on Britain's end of year pop charts.
