Naomi Campbell ends legal claim

Supermodel Naomi Campbell has ended her legal battle with a former maid.

Campbell settled an action filed in Manhattan by Gaby Gibson accusing her of calling her bigoted names. The terms of the settlement are confidential.

Campbell’s lawyer said that both sides were pleased with the outcome.

Gibson worked for Campbell from November 2005 to the end of 2006.

She claimed in her lawsuit that the 38-year-old model also hit her and threatened to charge her with theft after a pair of jeans went missing.

Campbell had denied the claims.
