DeGeneres wants to matchmake Hathaway
Ellen DeGeneres is offering up her matchmaking services to actress Anne Hathaway after her 2008 break-up from convicted fraudster Raffaello Folliere.
The actress dumped Follieri in June, just days before he was arrested for fraud and money laundering. The Italian businessman was later sentenced to four-and-a-half years in prison.
And now chatshow host DeGeneres is keen to find Hathaway a new lover.
During an appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, set to air in the US on Thursday, the host tells the actress: "If you need someone, I will find you a boyfriend. I'm really good at it."
A red-faced Hathaway replies: "Did you see how nervous I just got?"
DeGeneres adds: "You don't even have to date. You can go straight to commitment." And Hathaway has only one real requirement from any potential new boyfriends: "At this point I would just like him to be law abiding.
"2008 was the year I learned to have a sense of humour about everything."
