Spears' permanent conservatorship made official

Britney Spears' dad Jamie has officially been handed legal and permanent conservatorship over the singer's estate almost a year after he was first put in charge of his daughter's affairs.

Jamie Spears was made a co-conservator of his daughter's legal, financial and personal dealings in February of last year following a public breakdown in which the singer was entered into hospital to undergo a mental evaluation.
