Elvis fans flock to Graceland
Elvis Presley fans have flocked to his former Graceland home for a party to celebrate what would have been his 74th birthday, hosted by his ex-wife Priscilla.
The milestone is marked each year with tributes and events around the world, but Elvis fever takes a particular grip on Presley's adopted Memphis, Tennessee, where a string of celebrations are taking place.
Priscilla, who divorced Elvis four years before his death in 1977, will be the star of a Graceland bash, hosting a birthday ceremony on Thursday night.
More than 30 years after his death, Presley is raking in millions each year through his music and memorabilia. A recent Forbes magazine list named him the top earning dead celebrity.
And, just two weeks after his birthday, the star will even feature at US president-elect Barack Obama's Washington DC inauguration on January 20 where his song 'If I Can Dream' will be played.
