Ronson and Eno lead producers awards

Mark Ronson, Brian Eno and Suede's Bernard Butler have all landed nominations for the inaugural Music Producers Guild Awards.

Ronson has scored two nods, one for Best International Producer of the Year and another for The Joe Meek Award for Innovation in Production, for which Bjork and Eno will also compete.

Butler, Eno and Steve Mac are up for Producer of the Year, while Bloc Party producer Cenzo Townsend is another double nominee - he will fight it out for Recording Engineer of the Year and Best Mix Engineer.

Meanwhile, singer Duffy's chart smash 'Mercy' is nominated for UK Single of the Year 2008, and her album 'Rockferry' will go up against Coldplay's 'Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends', and British rockers Elbow's 'The Seldom Seen Kid' for UK Album of the Year 2008.

The awards show will take place in London on February 12.
