50 Cent truck range flops
50 Cent has been hit with another setback after the sports truck he launched at the New York International Auto Show last year has had production halted.
The rapper had teamed up with troubled American car giants General Motors to put his own 'Pontiac G8' on the market.
The vehicle was scheduled to hit stores in North America in 2010, but GM bosses have announced they will no longer be producing the truck due to the downturn in the global economy.
Pontiac representative Jim Hopson claimed the cancellation was part of the firm's restructuring plan and long-term "vision for Pontiac".
The news comes just days after 50 Cent's reality show, '50 Cent: The Money and the Power', was dropped by MTV.
