Spelling to return to 90210

Tori Spelling is set for a return to 90210 after allegedly agreeing a new salary deal with producers of the soap spin-off.

Spelling was billed to join former 'Beverly Hills, 90210' castmates Shannen Doherty and Jennie Garth in the new show but backed out of reprising her famous Donna Martin character in 90210 after allegedly falling out with TV bosses over cash.

Now, after another ex-90210 co-star Jason Priestley announced he'd be returning to the famous postcode to direct shows, Spelling - the daughter of the show's creator Aaron Spelling - is back on board, according to America's TV Guide magazine.

And Priestley will direct Spelling's debut on the show, which is scheduled to be shot at the end of January.

TV Guide claims show producers had hoped to make the splash about Spelling's return at a cast party on Monday night, but the actress was shooting an episode of Superman series Smallville in Vancouver, Canada.

Spelling guests as a Daily Planet reporter on the show.
