West lands Vuitton footwear tie-in

Rap superstar Kanye West is branching further out into the fashion industry - he's launching his own sneakers with top designer Louis Vuitton.

The Gold Digger rapper recently announced plans for his clothing range, Pastelle, and a collaboration with Nike for the Air Yeezy sports shoe.

And now the self-proclaimed "Louis Vuitton don" is turning it up a gear by teaming with his favourite label to produce the all-white design he's recently been sporting.

Confirming rumours of the deal, West told reporters as he left a Louis Vuitton store: "I was just showing them my new Louis... Can't say too much of that though... these (aren't) coming out until June."
