Bardem's lucky acting break

Oscar winner Javier Bardem has Lady Luck on his side - he fell into acting after film bosses spotted him as he escorted his sister to an audition.

The Spanish heartthrob, who scored a Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for his turn as a killer in 'No Country For Old Men', was determined to become a painter - but gave up his artistic dreams to join the underage Spanish national rugby team.
