Beckinsale's Oscar hopes dashed

Kate Beckinsale hopes for an Academy Award nomination for new movie 'Nothing but the Truth' may have been dashed after the film's distributors filed for bankruptcy.

US critics had tipped the actress to get her first Oscar nod for her turn in the drama, in which she plays a reporter who goes to jail rather than name a source.
