'Madagascar' sequel tops global box-office chart
All-star animated film 'Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa' has stampeded to the top of the international box office chart, taking in $33.5m (€24m) in 56 territories.
The DreamWorks movie, starring Ben Stiller, Jada Pinkett Smith, Chris Rock and David Schwimmer fought off competition from Keanu Reeves' sci-fi thriller 'The Day the Earth Stood Still', which finished second at $21m (€15m) in 92 markets.
