Carrey plays it cool after on-set accident

Jim Carrey was more concerned with looking cool than getting medical treatment when he broke three ribs on the set of new movie 'Yes Man'.

The funnyman was left in agony after he threw himself to the ground during a scene with co-star Molly Sims.

But Carrey admits he ignored the discomfort to protect his image in front of his fellow cast and crew members.

He said: "I've done pratfalls my whole life but halfway through the pratfall, I decided 'I'm going to change things up here - I want to get all my limbs up into the frame and I hit so hard'.

"But the first thing I thought of was 'must look cool, man'. I got up and I was in agony. I went up to the video monitors and I said 'Can I see that back?'."
