Adam Sandler has offered his public support to 'Bedtime Stories' co-star Russell Brand after the British funnyman resigned from his BBC Radio show over a lewd behaviour scandal.

Brand quit his BBC Radio 2 gig after he and fellow broadcaster Jonathan Ross were criticised for leaving "grossly offensive" voicemail messages on former 'Fawlty Towers' star Andrew Sachs' answer machine during a live broadcast in October.
