Plenty of fun 'Transporter 3'

Statham returns as the laid-back mover of items – another mysterious package that has to be delivered across Europe – in another outing for the popular series of all-action, biff-bang films.

There is, though, less action in this one – on his journey our hero is joined by a sexy passenger (Rudakova) – and, as usual, the characters are hardly painted with any depth: merely as a group of stereotypes.

But since we’re not required to take it seriously it’s a fun film, no more and no less.

And it does help that Statham plays his character the way he does, as a guy who doesn’t take himself or what he does too seriously.
