Coldplay sued for plagiarism

Coldplay are being sued today by a Los Angeles guitarist who claimed the Grammy-nominated band plagiarised one of his songs.

Joe Satriani filed a lawsuit in the Los Angeles federal court which claimed the band’s song 'Viva La Vida' “copied and incorporated substantial original portions” of his 2004 guitar instrumental 'If I Could Fly'.
