Green to cameo in 'Heroes'

Seth Green is to make a cameo appearance in popular TV series 'Heroes'.

The comic actor and self-confessed comic book geek said he had a blast shooting the two-part episode, titled 'The Eclipse', because he is a huge fan of the sci-fi show.

"I’ve been begging for a part on the show since it hit the air," he told TV Guide. "It took me three seasons, but I did it!"

Seth, known for playing Dr Evil’s son in the Austin Powers film series, plays the owner of Sam’s Comics, a seedy collector’s shop, which Hiro (Masi Oka) and Ando (James Kyson Lee) visit.
