Minogue to headline Middle East spectacular

Kylie Minogue is to make her Middle East debut performance at the opening of the much-hyped Atlantis - The Palm resort in Dubai on Thursday.

The Aussie singer will join Robert De Niro, Denzel Washington, Oprah Winfrey, Tom Cruise, R&B couple Janet Jackson and Jermaine Dupri and Samantha Ronson and Lindsay Lohan, among others, at the glitzy launch, according to Hollywood.TV.

Minogue will headline a show which will also feature Middle Eastern pop sensations Nawal and Priyanka Chopra.

The Palm will be lit up in what will be the world's largest fireworks display, designed and created by pyro expert, Grucci. Reports suggest the firework spectacular will be one of the first visible from space.

Ronson will DJ the Royal Afterglow party.
