Kidman vows to work hard on marriage

Nicole Kidman is so determined to make her marriage to Keith Urban last, she "touches wood" every day for good luck.

The Oscar-winning actress wed the country singer in June 2006, and they had their first child together - daughter Sunday Rose - in July this year.

But the 'Moulin Rouge' star insists she and her husband have to work hard at their marriage if it is going to last the distance.

Kidman told USA Today newspaper: "We're both willing to move mountains to make it work and, with that, you still touch wood. You commit to it and say: 'Whatever we can do that's humanly possible, we're going to do'. And that's it.

"I don't take any of it for granted. To have love again is a beautiful thing."

Kidman divorced first husband Tom Cruise in 2001. The pair have two adopted children together; Isabella and Connor.
