McCartney wants to release unheard Beatles epic

Paul McCartney is planning to release an unheard Beatles' track his former bandmate George Harrison once deemed too adventurous for the public.

'Carnival of Light', a 14-minute improvised song recorded in 1967, was played just once in public at a London music festival before it was shelved - because the Fab Four were convinced the psychedelic epic was too radical for their fans.
