McCartney to voice 'Shrek 4' character

Paul McCartney is reportedly set to test out his vocal skills on film - by voicing a new character in 'Shrek 4'.

The former Beatles star will lend his voice to a new addition in the latest installment of the animated film franchise, starring alongside comedian Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz and Antonio Banderas.

A source told 'The Sun': "The Shrek films have a proud tradition of getting great names and Macca is the best yet."
