BBC broadcasts apology for Ross/Brand phonecall

The BBC today broadcast an apology for the “grossly offensive” phonecall made by Russell Brand and Jonathan Ross on Radio 2 in the UK.

It ran just after 10am when Ross, who has been suspended without pay for three months for the prank, would normally be hosting his weekly show.
