King thriller will take your breath away

In the aftermath of a devastating storm, the sleepy community of Bridgton, Maine, is submerged in a thick mist.

Illustrator David (Thomas Jane) and his young son seek refuge in the local supermarket, joining other locals to stock up on hardware supplies to repair their battered homes.

Writer-director Frank Darabont (The Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile) delves once more into author Stephen King’s twisted imagination for this skin-crawling thriller about a small town under siege from bloodthirsty creatures.

Visual effects aren’t as polished as they could be, but the jaw-dropping finale certainly takes the breath away. The two-disc special edition includes a stunning black and white version of the film.
