Albarn hints at Blur reunion
Damon Albarn has hinted at a possible reunion for British rockers Blur since spending time with his former bandmate Graham Coxon.
The Britpop pioneers have been on hiatus since 2003, with band members working on side projects and solo albums.
Albarn, who has since scored huge chart success with his other music venture Gorillaz, previously dismissed the idea of a Blur reunion, insisting none of the members need the money they'd make by releasing another album.
But after recently meeting up with Coxon, who left the group in 2002 to pursue a solo career, Albarn is now considering the possibility of making music together again.
He said: "It's very possible I'll go back to Blur, it really is very possible. The truth be known Graham and I have been hanging out together a bit. We had lunch the other day.
"He's great; it's fantastic to get my old friend back. So it's good but I can't really say any more than that."
