Cowell explains love split

Simon Cowell has explained the reason for his recent split with girlfriend Terri Seymour - he is convinced celebrity marriages never work.

The couple dated for more than six years, but British model Seymour ended the relationship two months ago over Cowell's refusal to settle down and start a family.
