Marr to lecture students on music industry

Guitar legend Johnny Marr, who made his name with The Smiths in the 1980s, will return to the venue of one of his finest gigs to lecture students on the music industry.

The guitarist, who now plays with The Cribs and Modest Mouse, will deliver his inaugural lecture as visiting professor of music at Salford University on November 4.
