Brand consults hippie leader

Russell Brand is determined to find his inner peace and has recruited a spiritual guru to guide him on his holy quest.

The former heroin addict holds regular meetings with Radhanath Swami, a leading member of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness.

And the controversial comedian is convinced the mystical Indian master can help him to curb his excesses.

Brand says: "He's (Swami has) got the answer. I'm a spiritual gent and increasingly that's the level I want to vibrate on, were it not for my crazed lust for sex and glamour."
