Jessica Simpson has laughed off rumours she's engaged to American footballer beau Tony Romo after the couple was reportedly spotted shopping for rings together.

The singer, who has been dating Romo since late last year, was alleged to have picked out a sparkler with him during a trip to a Neiman Marcus store in Dallas, Texas recently.
