Katy Perry is to make her hosting debut at this year’s MTV Europe Music Awards, it was announced today.

The 23-year-old old Californian musician, whose single 'I Kissed A Girl' celebrated more than five million worldwide sales, is nominated in two categories at this year’s event in Liverpool.
