Mel C wants to keep baby gender a 'surprise'

Expectant mum Melanie Chisholm has vowed not to discover the sex of her first baby - because she wants the birth to be a "surprise".

The singer, who is the last former Spice Girl to become a mum, showed off her baby bump for the first time on British comedy show 'Al Murray's Happy Hour' on Friday.

And when asked who out of her former bandmates she would be frantically calling for advice, she stuck to the safe option, insisting all the women are great mothers.

She says: "Well they're all mums and they're all really good mums actually."
