Nolte 'blames printer' for blaze
Hollywood star Nick Nolte is reportedly contemplating legal action against the makers of his computer printer - because he's convinced that the machine sparked the fire that caused $2m (€1.46m) in damages to his California home.
The 'Cape Fear' actor escaped with only minor injuries from the blaze, which ripped through his Malibu home on Tuesday morning. The flames were put out by the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
In a statement released after the incident, Nolte's publicist claimed that it was "an electrical fire" which caused the damage.
And according to website TMZ.com, Nolte has told neighbours of his intentions to sue the printer manufacturers for compensation.
A spokesperson for Nolte had yet to confirm or deny those reports.
