An absolutely wonderful documentary set in the gritty Dublin boxing club of the title: St Saviours.

The film was lovingly shot over two years on a next-to-nothing budget and captures to perfection the hopes, dreams and disappointments of a group of scrappers who seek a better life.

Documentaries are increasingly bringing audiences the realism and honesty that too many big-budget Hollywood vehicles lack, or don’t have the courage to consider … this excellent film does, and more.
